Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. believes that energy efficiency and conservation are key actions in responsible energy management. We know that our members seek to save energy in various ways, and Energy Star appliances and heat pumps can help. We are pleased to offer an additional benefit to our members who purchase a new refrigerator, washer, dryer, heat pump or heat pump water heater with our Appliance/Heat Pump Rebate Program.

How to apply for the Rebate:

  1. Purchase an Energy Star refrigerator, washer, dryer, heat pump or heat pump water heater within the current calendar year.
  2. Complete this online form (be sure to read the Terms & Conditions carefully).
  3. Attach a photo or scanned file of the receipt or invoice showing date and purchase price of the eligible item(s).

Once this form has been submitted with the appropriate documentation, a bill credit * will be applied to your account as follows (based on rebate values effective 1/1/2024):

  • Refrigerator  $100
  • Washer  $50
  • Dryer  $50
  • Heat Pump (air or ground source)  $100
  • Heat Pump Water Heater  $50

*Please allow 4-6 weeks after the receipt of all documentation for the bill credit to appear.
