Tom Elliott joined the Claverack board in February 1996.

Mr. Elliott, along with his wife, Diane, own and operate Di-Ka-To Farms. They have been involved with farming since 1972. Mr. Elliott is very active in the farming community. He is a member of the American Legion and chaplain for the V.F.W. Post 6824. Tom is a member of the Bradford/Sullivan Farm Bureau and Dairy Farmers of America.

Mr. Elliott feels that electricty is a vital part of farming: "Electricity is the cheapest and most reliable hired hand on the farm." Tom is well versed in rural issues facing us today.

Tom and his wife have two daughters. His life's work has been farming and he enjoys the farming way of life, especially the diversification that goes along with it.

Tom represents Zone 4. Which includes Athens, Litchfield, Orwell, Pike, Rome, Sheshequin, Ulster and Windham townships in Bradford County.
