Jim Zick is owner/operator of Zickview farm in Kingsley, a family farm for over 75 years. The Zick family raises beef cattle and replacement dairy heifers. The farm has grown to approximately 650 acres. Jim feels strongly that electricity is a vital part of any farm operation and business. His home is heated with electric thermal storage (ETS).

Over 60 years ago Jim's father, William Zick, spotted poles for Claverack when lines were being strung throughout the countryside.

Jim is serving on the Mountain View school board and is currently board president. Jim and his wife, Carol, are the parents of six children. He represents Zone 3, which includes Gibson, Harford, Jackson, Lathrop and Lenox townships in Susquehanna County; and Benton township in Lackawanna County.
