Kevin B. Barrett was elected to the Claverack board of directors on July 23, 2005. He currently serves as the vice chairman.  He represents Zone 1, which includes Albany, Asylum, Herrick, Standing Stone, Stevens, Terry and Wyalusing townships in Bradford County.

Mr. Barrett owns and operates a dairy farm in Asylum Township, Bradford County. A graduate of Penn State Cooperative Directors School, he has 18 years of cooperative board experience. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, Forest Landowners Association, Select Sire Power and Liberty Corners Grange. He currently serves as a district delegate for Dairy Farmers of America. He is a past secretary of Eastern Laboratory Services board of directors; past director with Agway; past president of the Bradford County Cooperative Extension; past president of Bradford County Dairy Promotions; past regional chairman of Dairy of Distinction; and past president of the Wysox local of the Eastern Milk Producers Association.

An Asylum Township supervisor for 16 years, Barrett currently serves as board chairman. He is also a past president and current director of the Towanda Lions Club, a member of the Towanda Area School District Educational Foundation board of directors and a member of the Wysox Fire Company’s committee to rebuild Wysox Fire Hall. Kevin and his wife, Catherine, have two daughters, Samantha and Abigail, who represented Claverack as student delegates on past Rural Electric Youth Tours.
