Claverack Executive Elected to National Board

WYSOX, Pa. — Bobbi Kilmer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, has been elected to a seat on a national utility supply company board.

Kilmer secured a three-year term on the United Utility Supply Cooperative Corp. board of directors during its annual meeting May 3 in Harrisburg.

United Utility Supply Cooperative is a material supply organization owned by over 230 electric cooperatives in 17 states. Formed originally to repair distribution transformers, United is today recognized as one of the leading material supply cooperatives serving the rural electric market.

In addition to transformers, United distributes a complete line of materials needed to operate an electric utility. United maintains its own truck fleet and has established warehouse locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Tennessee.

“I’m honored to have been selected to serve on the United Utility Supply Cooperative board,” Kilmer said. “The organization provides a variety of high-quality, economically priced products for member cooperatives, including Claverack. I look forward to the opportunity to take part in the affairs of this cooperative program at the national level.”

Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative, with headquarters in Wysox, is a consumer-owned, non-profit electric distribution cooperative that delivers power to more than 17,000 homes, farms and businesses in northeastern Pennsylvania.
