Claverack Appoints Kilmer to Management Post
WYSOX, PA (Oct. 6, 2003)- Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative today appointed
Bobbi Kilmer of Towanda as the cooperative's executive vice president and chief
operating officer. Kilmer's responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day
operations of the cooperative, interfacing with the board of directors and budget
preparation.
Kilmer began duties with Claverack as an accountant in 1999. In 2001, she was
promoted to executive assistant for Claverack and its partner cooperative, Tri-County
Rural Electric, headquartered in Mansfield.
Prior to her co-op career, Kilmer had been employed by the Kilmer Insurance
Agency in Wyalusing. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration
from Mansfield University and is a graduate of the National Rural Electric Cooperative
Association's (NRECA) Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program at the University
of Nebraska.
A Bradford County native, Kilmer and her husband, Todd, reside in Asylum Township
with their son, Jonathan.
A member-owned, non-profit utility, Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative provides
electricity to more than 17,000 consumer-members in Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming,
Tioga, Lycoming, Sullivan, Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.
