Time-Of-Use Rate

If you can answer yes to the following questions the Time-of-Use (TOU) rate might be just right for you.
1. You have an electric water heater?
2. Your average electric bill is at least $70 per month?
3. You use at least 700 kwh per month?

The Time-of-Use rate is an opportunity for Claverack members to take charge of their electric bill. Claverack will install a special programmable meter at a members request. This meter has programmed in the on and off peak hours. To save, you should use at least 70% of your energy off-peak. The TOU meter and rate work great with electric thermal storage.

The monthly cost of service for a TOU meter is $20. Hours are subject to change with notification. This rate is only available to rural residential members.
