Home Energy Audits

This is a free service, no cost to our members. Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative will come to your home and perform an energy audit. Claverack's personnel can make recommendations on ways for you to save on your electric bill.

If you would like to try a do-it-yourself audit one is offered by the Department of Energy: ENERGY AUDIT

Claverack will also do a heat loss/heat gain calculation of your home. This can be done by visiting your home or from a set of floor plans.

To complete this analysis we need the following information: Room Sizes Ceiling Heights Window and door sizes and type (ex. Low E glass) Insulation value of walls, ceilings and floors From this information we can give you estimated heating/cooling cost as well as the size of the electric heating/cooling system required for your home.
