Claverack is owned by those it serves. Electricity is purchased from Allegheny Electric Cooperative, Inc. a generation and transmission cooperative for all thirteen rural electric cooperatives in Pennsylvania and one in New Jersey. Power is delivered to 20 substations owned by Claverack. As the Cooperative grows, system capacity increases to meet the requirements of the member.
