Taco Salad

From the Kitchen Of - Darlene Agnew

Serves -

Ingredients -
1 head lettuce
1 lb. ground beef
2 cans chili beans; drained
1 small onion; diced
1 package shredded cheddar cheese
   Bag of plain tortilla chips
   Taco Sauce
   Sour Cream
1 package Taco Seasoning
1 package Taco Seasoning

 

Directions - Brown ground beef; drain. Stir in Taco seasoning and let cool completely. In the meantime, cut up the lettuce into bite size pieces. Place in a large bowl, then add the onion, beans and the cheese. Mix well. Add the cooled ground beef and mix well. Take some of the tortilla chips and crush them up and put them on a plate. Put the salad on top of the crushed chips. Add your topping and ENJOY!!!.

Additional comments - This is a great salad to have in the summer. Its even better the next day!!
